This feed has a moderate protein content of 22% and a lightly reduced energy content of 9.5% to meet the altered energy requirements. The SeniorPlus Complex in this feed also has a lowered phosphorous and sodium content to take the burden off of the kidneys. The food contains New Zealand green-lipped mussels, which are rich in chondroitin and glucosamine to help maintain cartilage and joints. MERA essential Senior contains extra vitamins and natural beta-glucane to support the body’s natural defenses. The recipe contains no wheat, which frequently triggers food intolerances and allergies.
