During the first weeks of life kittens are protected by antibodies that they absorb through their mother’s milk (colostrum). This concentration of antibodies gradually decreases even though their immune systems are not yet fully developed and this milk can help bridge the so-called immunological gap
• Very digestible: A young kitten’s digestive system is not yet fully developed. Prebiotic inulin and highly digestible proteins support the development of an optimal digestive system
• DHA: The rearing milk is rich in the omega 3 fatty acid DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). DHA helps to support the development of healthy brain function in kittens
