Belcando Adult Power is a balanced, wholesome dry food that has been specially tailored to meet the unique nutritional needs of sports dogs, working dogs and breeding bitches. The energy need of these active dogs is significantly higher than the average dog, so the protein and fat contents in this Belcando Adult Power have been tailored accordingly. A high content of finest low-ash poultry meat, of human food-grade quality and primarily from muscle, provides your dog with essential protein. It is also particularly tasty and easy to digest. This Belcando Adult Power also contains freshly caught herring, which is rich in amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids. Belcando Adult Power contains no wheat, as this can often be a catalyst for food intolerances. The carbohydrate sources are exclusively broken down rice and maize, which are easier for nutritionally-sensitive dogs to digest.

Antioxidants are essential in protecting cells against free radicals, as well as helping to combat signs of ageing, chronic illnesses and degenerative changes. This Belcando Adult Power contains grapeseed meal, which has a naturally high content of polyphenols, with this highest antioxidative potential of any foodstuff. The grapeseeds are cold-pressed for this food. The meal can have a positive effect on the heart, cardiovascular system and overall vitality. Brewer’s yeast is an excellent source of immune-supporting B-vitamins, amino acids, trace elements and minerals, as well as providing great flavour. Carob bean meal offers essential prebiotics, which help to combat the spread of pathogenic bacteria in the gut whilst supporting the growth of friendly bacteria. This helps to support a balanced intestinal flora. A special mix of herbs can help to support and promote healthy digestion. Other functional ingredients include chia seeds and Yucca schidigera, which round off this complete, nutritious meal.
